Monkey Made of Sockies Gives Back to the GOT Kids Foundation

Monkey Made of Sockies is a great ambassador! This time he’s on his way to the GOT Kids Foundation to help raise funds for students in Lodi Unified School District to help them discover and develop talents, abilities, and interests that will enhance their lives both now and in the future.

Here’s a bit of information about the GOT Kids Foundation from Kimberlee Collier:
GOT Kids Foundation is a non-profit entity that was formed to raise funds for the extra-curricular things that were eliminated during budget cuts. GOT Kids Foundation has funded speech and debate tournaments, drama, music, FFA, anti-bullying assemblies, school gardens, athletics (especially girl’s golf teams, elementary running clubs, and girl’s wrestling), field trips, science camps, and so much more. All work on behalf of the Foundation is done by volunteers, so 99% of funds raised go directly to benefit the kids (we do buy some paper, envelopes and some postage).”

Makes me smile as big as a sock monkey! I love that my Monkey Made of Sockies painting is helping to build a dream.

Best of luck to all of you at the GOT Kids Foundation. You do great work!
